It helps tremendously that Dana Taylor is such a good storyteller to start.
Many of us have interesting life stories to tell, but it’s kinda like all those personal photos on Facebook: how many of us can pull those together into a slide show strangers would want to watch without yawning? Right. But when you take a great writer like Dana, and give her a really challenging life story, you’ve got the makings of a great inspirational tale. And Dana delivers, as she does with all her books, fiction and non. This one’s major charm is that it’s a struggle with traditional faith that many of us have been through, but Dana’s had some powerful encounters with spiritual energy that would have brought me to my knees for sure. Dana gives a compelling gift to us of the need to surrender, not as a slave, but rather as a spiritual partner in our own healing and the discovery of our power to help others heal as well.
